Co-working | Collaboration | Design & Fabrication
Based in the El Poblenou neighbourhood, this proposal plans to occupy an abandoned plot right in the heart of Barcelona. The El Poblenou neighbourhood, once the industrial heart of the city, as seen an increasing number of European start-ups settling in, attracted by lower proprety prices, larger spaces, and the Barcelonan way of life.
This project aims to enable young start-ups to investigate the underlying collaborative and iterative processes of design, fabrication, and manufacturing, by providing facilities to drive their designs & products from initial concepts to physical prototypes. Part co-working space, part workshop.
